Radio Vacuum tube help!?

Okay so I have come across boxes of those old radio vacuum tubes, they appear to be used and there are a couple of testers along with them all that seems a little to complicated for me....A peace of tape was put on each tube with a number like 1300, 1400, 1050 by the previous owner i dunno if he tested them and they work or should i figure out and start testing all these tubes? am i wasting my time are they just junk if there used? can anyone help this youngin out? this is a little to old of technology for me id like to sell them if they are of any value
