Anything I can apply to the outside of a large gl tube to reinforce the gl?

I have a large gl tobacco pipe that has a small break on one part of it. I took krazy glue and repaired that certain area, but now it is extremely sensitive. I was wondering if there was any kind of putty, glue, epoxy or something that I could apply to the exterior of the gl break area and down onto the more solid part of the gl as to reinforce the sensitive area. Preferably something that will harden extremely hard and will be able to be applied to gl. Can anyone help, please? Thanks!
