Why did my roasting pan bend in the oven?

It bent because its thin. My favorite roasting pan twists up every time I use it and then returns to normal as it cools. I wouldn't be worried by it. It only is an issue when you go to make a pan sauce. By the way Martha Stewart is not exactly the top of the pan pile by ANY stretch. Get yourself a Vollrath( Made in Wisconsin) or equivalent, and you will never face this sort of twisting problem.
