Is it just me or does it seem very difficult to do studies in India.?
There are so many diverse ethnic groups with different thistories in India that it seems that it is almost impossible to perform any type of study. For example my parents are from Kerala and speak Malayalam but I am Knaynana which means my ancestors came from Syria a few centuries back. After living in the hot climate of Kerala for several generations my people began to adapt to the climate especially through the tanning of the skin. Although some my family is darker now they still retain many of the features of our ancestors. I have many relatives with light skin, brown hair and blue eyes. The punjabs are another example. They consider to have very strong ties to their Indo-Aryan heritage and then there are groups such as the original Dravidians who have their own separate history and are probably somewhat genetically diverse. I feel that when studies are done in India they should take into account the many different ethnic considering it is one of the most ethnically diverse nation
