As a 17 year old, am i allowed to renounce Catholicism irrespective of what my parents think?

As i said i am 17, I wish not to be a catholic anymore and i was wondering if i am allowed (regardless of my age) to just renounce my faith even when my parents are entirely against it and still claim that i am a catholic. My father beliefs i am not entitled to have my own opinions and beliefs and that i should respect his decision as my elder. My brother and mother think the same, my brother further saying that since we are Italian Catholics (we live in australia) that i have to ask my nonna (grandmother) before i do so. what do you think?
